Organic Red Clover Blossoms (Trifolium pratense)
Botanical Name: Trifolium pratense

Processing: Non-ETO • Non-Irradiated • Ethically Harvested
Our Organic Red Clover Blossoms are carefully harvested at full bloom during the summer months, when their rosy-pink flower heads are at their most vibrant. A member of the pea (Fabaceae) family, red clover is an herbaceous flowering plant identified by its rounded clusters of densely packed blossoms and its distinctive three-lobed leaves.
Native to Europe, western Asia, and northwest Africa, red clover has been widely naturalized throughout the world and is commonly found growing in open meadows and grassy fields. The blossoms are traditionally gathered at peak flowering and gently dried to preserve their delicate colour and character.
When brewed, red clover blossoms yield a mild, slightly sweet infusion with soft floral notes.
